REWARD OFFERED FOR INFORMATION REGARDING CEMETERY VANDALISM

To the Community:

We are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals responsible for vandalizing Riverside Cemetery located in Sharpsville.
This cemetery is a place of remembrance and is the final resting place of members of our community and their families. The damage and disrespect shown to the cemetery is deeply troubling and has affected many individuals who have loved ones buried there.

A reward is being offered for information that directly leads to the identification and/or prosecution of the person or persons responsible for this vandalism.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sharpsville Police Department at 724-962-7829. Information may be provided confidentially, where permitted by law.

We ask everyone in the community to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity around the cemetery. Please do not approach or confront anyone you believe may be involved. Instead, provide the information to law enforcement.  Our cemeteries deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. We appreciate the community’s assistance in helping protect these sacred places and in holding those responsible accountable.
